No Senior Left Behind
Every day, thousands of seniors face a choice no one should have to make: pay for medication, keep the lights on, or put food on the table. Today, nearly 14 million seniors across America experience or are threatened by hunger, and in Texas, nearly 1 in 4 older adults face food insecurity. Yet behind every statistic is a neighbor, veteran, parent, or grandparent who deserves the dignity of a healthy meal and human connection. At Meals on Wheels Collin County, we are bridging that gap—delivering nutritious meals, wellness checks, emergency assistance, and hope directly to the doorsteps of seniors who need it most. Because we believe no senior should be left behind, forgotten, or forced to face hunger alone. Together, we are building a community where every senior is nourished, cared for, and connected.

OUR IMPACT

Nutritious meals were delivered to 2,381 seniors in 2024. In addition, we supplied 6,215 emergency meals, 1,000 safety kits, and 1,243 emergency meal boxes to our senior neighbors.

Volunteer hours were donated by compassionate and committed individuals and corporations.
Thank you, Heroes of Hope!

Well-checks were performed by our staff. We delivered food boxes, holiday gifts, and even provided dog food to seniors for their beloved furry companions—because we offer so much more than just a meal!
